She LOVES Hip-Hop

I'm putting it in writing now...I think my child is musically inclined. I think she will have some sort of musical talent whether it is dancing, singing, or playing an instrument. Nothing seems to capture her interest more than music.

Especially Rap and Hip-Hop. I'm thinking it must be the beat that she likes. So far she seems to be a VERY big fan of Flo Rida's song LOW and sadly of Soulja Boy's Crank Dat. Not so much a fan of Britney Spears though. Maybe she knows Brit is a crappy Mommy. She's boycotting in honor of Jayden and Sean Preston. Haha.

I started singing Low to her yesterday because the song was stuck in my head "Applebottom jeans...boots with the fur...the whole club was lookin' at her....she hit the floor, next thing you know, shawty got
low
low
low
low
low
low
low
low!"

Natalie thought it was hysterical. I just hope she doesn't stick with her love of Rap and Hip-Hop...I don't want her coming home in 4th grade asking me for a grill!!!

Itty Tat

Our first official phrase!!

Natalie loves our Kitty Cats and when she sees them she gets excited and says "itty tat!" How fun is that?

Although, now it looks like EVERYTHING is "itty tat"

I guess its time to work on some new words!!!

Ugh. When it rains it pours...

Well, Natalie is doing better, thank goodness.

But now our cat Allie is sick. She has a UTI which we discovered last night when she peed on our bed because she can't control herself. She is on antibiotics now - but we have to keep her in the basement because she peed on the bed AGAIN. I guess 1) she doesn't have much control and 2) she feels safe in our room. But I can't keep washing my comforter every day. I really hope that she gets better soon - she really seems like she is in pain. I feel terrible for her. And I hate that we have to keep her in the basement, but I just don't want her peeing all over everything!

Sick baby

Poor little Natalie hasn't been feeling too good. She's been acting funny since Wednesday - that's when she stopped taking her bottles. Thursday she refused to eat most things. She had diarrhea and wasn't herself so we took her to the doctor. He said she just had a cold virus. That, and she's got a TON of teeth coming in and that causes a lot of stress on their little bodies. Then Thursday night she started throwing up. I now understand the difference between spitting up and throwing up. BIG DIFFERENCE. She continued to have diarrhea and threw up again in the middle of the night and then again in the morning. It was a little scary because the doctor said if she threw up again there would be a chance of having to go to the hospital to get put on IV fluids. Luckily she didn't throw up again after that and we gave her pedialyte for the rest of the day.

She seems to be doing better, but she's sleeping a TON. She's also not eating very much of her bottles, but I think a lot of that has to do with the teething. I hope she feels better - I worry about her so much!

So, in the meantime, I caught up on some digi-scrapping. I just don't have much time to work on pages right now. I was supposed to have a bunch of this done to give out for Christmas presents...oops. Maybe next year.
